As night fell, we made our way toward the carnival games and rides. However, the path we decided on took us on a big circle around the main stadium where a children's show was going on. Unfortunately we didn't get to make it to the show as the stadium was beyond full! As this was one of the stadiums that hosted the 2000 Olympic Games, I can only imagine how many people the arena holds. As we made our round, we saw this lovely puppet show with three scenes playing "Waltzing Matilda". Nearing the end of the circle, we saw a couple of acts getting ready to enter the stadium. A horse drawn wagon and a man in historical costume (difficult to see) looked ready to go. On the other side, a Yamaha dirt bikes stunt group were parked.
