While on an extended weekend holiday, Alan and I drove up the mountains and stopped by Carrington Falls. The day was cool and quite misty. We were afraid we weren't going to be able to see anything. But for a few seconds every now and then the mist would part allowing us a breathtaking view of the falls and gorge. Those precious few seconds felt like a treasure or a gift.
Further up the trail, we came upon the source of the falls. We walked around the rocks and went as close as we could to the edge as the sign let us. Alan and I didn't go past the signs so no worries...trust us, death by stupidity is not one of our goals in life.
Enjoy the pics.
